The Sony Wega was excellent for arcade cabinets. In my opinion, Wega's have the best picture of any consumer non-HD tube television. I am of course using the SVideo connection. The screen is flat, like a computer monitor and the picture is noticably better than a normal tube television.
The exterior of the Wega has an great silver brushed-crome look. Once I got the Wega in place I decided not to put a bezel over it because it looked so good. Since I was leaving it exposed, I decided to use the Wega's speakers as the primary speakers for the cabinet too. The volume control is right there infront of the players so it makes it easy.
